Just as sum of the reviews I've read the pics are just not up to par and it clams to hav "HD" video yeah if HD stands for highly dissappointed. My ole EASYSHARE Z760 6.1 Megapixel took wwwwwwwaaaayyy better pics and video then this 580. For that I can do it myself. The zoom was slow and you have to push down very hard on the button for it to work. The buttons at the top also won't work unless you apply a lot of pressure. The screen is nice but the pictures came out a little too dark in broad daylight. No worth it. Sending it back and going back to my 3 year old Panasonic Lumix that takes way better pictures.
