Usually, the audio would be connected via the same USB that plug with the device. but for this one, it's a separate audio input!! So I have to put the webcam right next to my audio input hole as the wire is really short! Regardless, the microphone just doesn't work, so I have to return it.

The picture quality is very good though.

First of all, I think I should address the issues that aren't even mentioned on the item's selling page. First of all, this isn't 100% USB. The video is USB, but the microphone uses an analog plug. You know, like the plug at the end of a pair of headphones, but for a microphone instead. Second of all, the plug-and-play aspect isn't exactly 100% either. Yes, it works on my laptop. Yes, I'll assume it works on every computer. I tried plugging it into my Playstation 3, but the PS3 didn't recognize it. The PS3 does recognize USB webcams, but not this one.

Every one of the reviews so far has mentioned that it's wobbly, and I couldn't agree more. When I first ordered it, I was expecting the base of the camera to be weighted to compensate for the flexible neck. It isn't. Instead, it's just a really, really weak suction cup. I didn't even realize it was supposed to be a suction cup until I looked at the other reviews here. In addition to that issue, even though it's advertised as being flexible, more often than not the neck will slowly bend back to its original position. Smaller bends work fine, but don't expect to be able to stick it to your wall and bend the neck 90 degrees.

The video feed is decent enough. In my experience so far, the feed tends to wash out in a yellowish color, but you can correct this by showing the camera anything with a backlit screen, like your cellphone's display. The microphone isn't very strong, but this can usually be corrected by just adjusting your microphone's settings in your computer's master volume control. All in all, this is a very mediocre product with an appropriate price.

This is made for applications like Skype video phone calls. The camera works OK but by the time it is back far enough the other party can not hear me or anyone on my end thru the mic.

I bought it for video calling my son in Iraq with several other family members on this end. It just does not work. don't waste your'e money.

More typical Chinese garbage'.
